The Repile typeface is a side project that started out of curiosity, "If font is a determining factor in the tone of visual communication, can font express anything other than human voice?" Inspired by the appearance characteristics of reptiles such as snakes, lizards, and crocodiles, and the behavioral patterns of reptiles, I tried to melt them into display typeface.
Reptile typeface 프로젝트는 ‘만약 서체가 시각적 커뮤니케이션의 톤을 정하는 요소라면, 서체가 사람의 목소리 이외의 것을 표현할 수 있을까?’라는 호기심에서 시작된 사이드 프로젝트입니다. 뱀, 도마뱀, 악어 등 파충류의 외관적 특징과 파충류가 가지고 있는 행동학적 패턴에서 영감을 받아 이를 디스플레이 서체로 녹여내고자 했습니다.
