In order to indicate design differences by product grade, we developed pattern graphics that add the impression of the product brand for premium products and added tactile details through knurling post-processing engraved on the sidewall surface.












Project Overview

Kumho Tire is Korea's leading tire manufactcturer with the largest share in the replacement tire market and the top 15 tire brand in global sales as of 2022. 

In pursuit of enhancing customer safety and convenience through innovative technologies and solutions, Kumho Tire has consistently evolved its sidewall designs to adapt to internal and external environmental changes and market trends. Double D has redefined the essence of 'Kumhoness' to enhance customer trust and, based on this concept, developed new sidewall designs, icons, pictograms, and guidelines to establish sustainable design systems across all brands.

Personal Contribution

As a member of the project team, I contributed to the development of sidewall designs for all eight product lines, as well as proposed and developed a new sub-brand logo syststem.
