Ewha Womans University
Working Scope
Identity
Founded by a missionary Mary F. Scranton in 1886, Ewha Womans University is one of the world’s largest female educational institutes and one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea.

Ewha Womans University had signature design guidelines for the school's colleges and institutions, but the existing guidelines were difficult to use in the mobile environment due to legibility issues, resulting in each college and institution using a separate signature design not specified in the guidelines.

To address the above issues, Double D has adjusted the size of each component that makes up the signature design and re-established the use of each signature design.

01    KOREAN SIGNATURE
The new Korean signature, created for use in online media such as mobile and the web, has reduced the size of the school name and increased the size of sub-information to improve the readability of sub-information on small displays.

02    ENGLISH SIGNATURE
The new English signature was created for digital media such as mobile and web. It reduced the space occupied by text and improved readability by changing the case regulation from the existing All Caps to Title Case in sub-information.

03    KOREAN & ENGLISH COMP. SIGNATURE
The Korean & English Comp. Signature is a new signature system that did not exist before. It was created for multinational users in offline media (ex, school official documents).
